More than your Average Surf School

The British Surfing Association is the official national governing body for the sport of surfing in the United Kingdom.

The National Surfing Centre, Fistral Beach and the BSA Surf School, Lusty Glaze Beach are owned and run by the British Surfing Association. (B.S.A.)

You can be assured of the highest standards of coaching, safety and equipment.

Our Instructors are all Fully Accredited B.S.A. Surf Coaches and qualified Beach Lifeguards.

We can offer professional surf coaching for all abilities ranging from a first time novice to an Advanced Level competitor.

In the role of N.G.B. the B.S.A. has a major role in the sport's development. The B.S.A.'s aim is to promote, encourage and develop the sport of surfing in the U.K.

The surf schools play a key part in this and all the revenue goes directly back into founding the Association and helps to support surfing in the U.K. At our two surf schools we aim to provide top quality and fun surf coaching sessions, for all participants.
